Starting tonight

We're starting salads tonight. First trip to the store since we agreed to do salads each time we went to the store.  I'm making pirate-shaped pasta and garlic bread, plus the salad Chris will pick up on the way home.
Btw, shaped pasta hasn't been effective getting Mr. Picky Toddler to eat. He doesn't care. Last night he stole the pb&j sandwich from my plate and ate about 1/4 sandwich. This is a feast for him.

  1. I got addicted to a summery salad a while back: baby spinach, diced apple, feta cheese, walnuts, and a very little bit of balsamic vinaigrette. Plenty of good stuff, and easy on the "this tastes like the ground" factor. Ate it every other night for most of the summer.

Sounds like Mr. Picky Toddler is his father's son?

  2. Salad didn't happen last night. The condensate pump on the furnace died, and by the time the furnace guy left, the trip to the grocery store didn't happen because we were all starving. So, that's been postponed until tonight.

And Mr. Picky Toddler is absolutely his father's son. :)
